Now that the Internet revolution is becoming mature, are you cellular only? If you have broadband internet, then you can get rid of your landline phone by using comcast's cable internet or at&t's dryloop dsl. Some of the perks of being without a landline is that you will always get your messages if there is only one number you're giving out. Another is that you will save some costs each month by cutting out that extra bill.
I believe in being without a landline just because of all of the telemarketers out there harassing me at dinnertime. I get to choose who gets through and who doesn't with the call screening feature on my Sony Ericsson.
Some of the downsides are higher bills if you are constantly talking on the phone, 911 location, fax lines and children using a phone when they need or want to.
One side note on the 911 comment is that verizon is rumored to have a feature on their phones causing a siren to sound when 911 is dialed on some of their phones giving away the user's location in a robbery or break in crime.
Be aware of some of these points if you are thinking about going without a landline in the future!

Sony Ericsson Loyalty

Let's stop for a moment to discuss why I enjoy Sony Ericsson products. To start off, this opinion is not close minded. I have owned phones from each major brand. Motorola, Nokia, Samsung, etc.
First off, their build quality and design is wonderfully balanced. In owning both flip phones such as the w300i and candybar style phones such as the k550i, i have not come across any build quality or design flaws.
Second, they have great connectivity features. No problems with bluetooth, network connections or calling.
Third, they have a great blend of features. From being able to use opera mini to great gaming all the way to photos and music, their phones do many things well. While photography and music are their main focuses, detail is put into their other featues as well.
Their prices are always fair and their phones keep me interested.
Why do you love your Sony Ericsson?
